Distanced, far beyond
an honest contact.
Steady
so steady and right on time
thousands of us
piercing the throbbing heart of our town.
Look at you - beauty -
you`re like a sunrise
to an old man
look at you and contemplate
a smile - your warmth
could really save a sad man`s life.
But, so distanced we are
so lonesome and happy
I see you, I love you
I hope we`ll never meet again.
So distanced, so good.
Keep a good share of space
between you and me
keep me away
from all of this
keep me watching
from the shadows...
