"I'm Your Opheliac"


I can remember the way his eyes used to light up when he saw her.
And how happy she made him. She was all he could talk about besides anything someone else could bring up and he couldn’t make the conversation about her. He would even try to convince his parents to send him to different states so he could see her play live. It was hard to be his friend. His whole life practically revolved around her. In a way, at first, I was glad he had discovered her. It had been awhile since I had seen him smile; for real. But now I truly regret this. He would have been fine with out her.
I guess he was spoilt from the start. Working his way around things to get his own way. I would fall for every one of his lies. This obsessive game would get worse by the day. He became a little paranoid and jumpy. It was scary to know he loved her more than his girlfriend. And towards the end he began to talk in third person and occasionally whisper to himself, what I’m sure that were line from the Shakespeare play Hamlet.
“Doubt thou the stars are fire Doubt thou the sun doth move Doubt truth to be a liar But never doubt I love …her”


And to think she wasn’t there to keep him breathing as the water rises up and
he slipped away.

Now I see the Opheliac in him.

It's good!
I have already said this but, im like "wow" everytime i read it.
