I love beating the shit out of things, so drums is an ideal instrument for me.

Anyone else?

I've been playing for about a year, but I only get lessons once a week and have little/no way of practicing which is annoying. >_>

Well I have a drumset at school for anyone to use.
I bang it a lot.

But I don't have my own drumset.
I just have drumsticks. XD
I'm waiting for it though. lol@chu

I found this really cool beat I could play so you know, I've been playing it on any flat surface I can get to. The floor's cut up pretty bad.

I have lessons through school.
The once a week, using the school drum kits deal.
I've been playing for 3 years but I still suck.
I could probably go in early one morning and practice, but I'm crap and everyone would laugh.
I would love my own kit though.

I play drums and I have my own kit.
I get lessons once a week and my tutor is a really good drummer.
I don't practice a lot though because I suck and I don't like it when people hear me practice.

I've had an electric kit for years and finally got an acoustic last year which I left round a band mate's so we can practice there.

Band split up and it now sits in my loft never to be played because it doesn't fit anywhere else naww, diddums.

I go up pretty much everyday to give it a hug and a discreet hit on its cymbals lol@chu

i have been playing for about 3.5 years. my friends were in a band, but didnt have a drummer so i offered, and they gave me lessons at school [just teaching me basic beats, etc.]. im mostly self taught, had a few lessons during my music course last year. i.e. was told the technical names of stuff that i already knew/have now forgotten. -narrows eyes-

my band hasnt played together/even hung out together in over a year so i think its safe to say we've split OMYGOD D':::: and it makes me extra sad coz ive known 2/3 of the people for ages.

i moved out of my mums house recently and my kit, even though its kinda dodge, is still at her house.

yea, i went to rollercoaster in 05, and one of the bands used an electric kit (doesn't help that it was outside) and it didnt sound that good. ill probably just go with my old kit, by a stand for my crash, and get a new snare head (because my current one is all plastic-y and stuff -narrows eyes- ) Drums & Percussion 511417
