Be it American Idol, Australian Idol, current, in past seasons or any others lets talk about it!

American Idol 2009/2010(?) is on now, and it's good.
Even though the show it's self is shit I still think it's a great platform for new artist, and with the addition of Ellen DeGeneres to the panel she is able to slingshot castoffs into stardom with her day time talk show.
Shes already had Lilly Scott and Alex Lambert perform on her show which imo is good.
Ive heard some people say that Idol is not worth it anymore, and you should just watch Ellen for the "real talent" the show finds and then mistakenly throws out.

Oh, and don't get me started on the whole Chris Golightly/Tim Urban thing. Tim Urban, in my opinion, can't sing for shit, he should not be in it. I would say this for a few contestants actually, but there are also really great vocalists.
It's still early, top 11, and I'm still cheering for a few people.
My faves out of top 11 are: Didi Benami, Michael Lynche, Siobhan Magnus, Lee DeWyze and Crystal Bowersox. (:
