Running With Scissors

Written by Augusten Burroughs, this book is a memoir which describes his mother's unusual behavior and the relationship with her unorthodox shrink, Dr. Finch, as well as the teenage boy's relationship with 33-year-old Neil Bookman.
It has also been made into a movie, which I haven't seen, but this book is at the top of my list with "Choke".

I bought it one day about a year ago at Target for the sake of buying a book. The title and cover seemed interesting, so why not? I loved it. 
Now I wanna read it again, but I have no idea where it is.

My friend Josh (who, ironically, read it at the same time as I did) reminds me so much of Augusten in the book, but I don't think they've been through the same thing...

I'm like my friends personal library: they're always taking books from me.

I've read everything by Augusten Burroughs. 
He absolutely fascinates me, and his sense of humor is amazing.
"Sellevision", his first fiction novel, is ridicoulously funny.

I really liked the content of that book, but I thought the writing was poor. I could barely get involved in what was going on (but that's just me! [however I do think i have excellent taste]) and the only reason I kept reading was because it was so gloriously fucked up, I had to!
I hope someone can identify with that.
