The Dresden Dolls are an American musical duo from Boston, Massachusetts.

Formed in 2001, the group consists of Amanda Palmer and Brian Viglione.

They describe their style as "Brechtian punk cabaret", a phrase invented by Palmer because she was "terrified" that the press would invent a name that "would involve the word gothic."
The Dresden Dolls are part of an underground dark cabaret movement that started gaining momentum in the early 1990s.

And they're awesome lol@chu One of my favourite bands, definitely.

My favourite song will always be Mandy Goes to Med School. It's just like... omg. The "two foot coffin" thing scared me so bad at first. I was horrified, but at the same time I loved it so much. I was so conflicted lmfao

Although of the new album I fucking love Oasis. I think it's a really important song and it's a good thing she released it as a single. Pity the UK broadcasters all have their heads up their asses Mad
