Contrary to popular belief, this book is not about a person on a journey to find Alaska as in the state. At first, I thought that that was the plot of the book, so I figured it was boring and awful.
Wrongo.
It is by far my favorite book. nawwww

Looking for Alaska is the first young adult novel by John Green, published in March 2005 by Dutton Juvenile. It won the 2006 Michael L. Printz Award from the American Library Association. (from Wikipedia)

I don't really know what else to say besides this: if you haven't yet read this book, give it a shot. Chances are, you'll love it. lol@chu
So, Looking For Alaska. Loved it? Hated it? Want to know more about it?
Post away. you have pleased him

Oh, dude. One of my favorite books ever.
I thought it was something of the sort too, an epic quest novel to go to Alaska or something. lol@chu But after watching John Green's (the author) videos on youtube, I decided to give it a shot.

Gah. I love it. I've read it at least a million times and I cry every single time.
And I have like, the hugest crush on Alaska.

I knowww.
>_>
I'm so scared they'll trivialize it and make it.. I dunno. Cheesy, corny.
But I liked The OC.. Josh Schwartz should be okay. I think.

Have you read his second book, An Abundance of Katherines? I REALLY WANT TO READ PAPER TOWNS. NOT COOL

Yeah, a movie is currently in the works. I hope they don't ruin it, either.
I met John Green last Monday and I do believe he said Papertowns was also going to be turned into a movie. Katherines is still up in the air, though.
But don't quote me on that. I have a crappy memory. LOL@CHUUU

Honestly, I never got through the first chapter of Katherines.
It was just... boring. At least to me.
My friend read it, though, and she loved it.
I'll have to try it again someday.
