Jamie's head over heels for Penny, to the point where he'd almost die for her.
Eli broke up with Nate and wants to die because of it. Sara's grandparents are dying. Maddy thinks she's histrionic.

Today, I stepped in bird poop and helped people with their lives while struggling not to break down because I'm a hypocrite who can't sort her own shit out, and gives advice she should really follow. 2009 isn't looking too good right now but I have things to look forward to. While it felt great to help people it just reminded me how much of a coward I am for not letting people help me, because I'm too proud to ask for help.
My self-loathing state has returned, but you won't notice. I'm not fine when I say I am, but I'll play it off and insist everything is okay.
I'm fine, really. My life's okay. It's a lie, but it's okay.
