Star of the Jane Doe.

I want to scream until my throat bleeds.
I want to spin until I puke.
I want to fade until I'm gone.
I want to claw until every surface is covered in scratches.
I want to hold my breath until my lungs explode.
I want to be the sacrifice, so others don't have to.
And I want to go as quietly as possible because no one needs the stress.
I want to be marked a Jane Doe and buried by the state.
I want to make it like I never lived.
Because everyone will be okay once I'm gone.
And in return, all I ask is that I can live among the stars.
So that maybe I could be a guiding beacon for lost souls.
Or the light that baths young lovers in calm meadows.
I'll watch over the world and sooth the fears of humanity.
I'm only hurting now, but I could help.
