Living in A Minor; Dying in B Flat
Me being Panic-esque.
I'm in the process of recording this, so when I'm done, yall can listen
Living in A Minor; Dying in B Flat
She’s all dolled up
But there’s no way she’s going to go
Out dancing again tonight, oh no
You know
It won’t be too pretty at all
When your face is splattered across
The ground floor
You eat attention like its candy
And that dress is way too hot for you
Well it must be hard on confidence
When you put the ‘fun’ in funeral
And it’s not hard to die
When your best friend is a knife
And you live on the 31st storey
Of a 32 storey flat
A flick of the wrist
Of life’s illusionist
Too quick for you;
You don’t believe any more
Go on
Waltz through that hotel door
The show is just beginning
(The show’s about to start!)
Well velour and velvet star with V
But so does volatility
And there’s no use for that sharpened mind
When it brands your pain across your thighs
And it’s not hard to die
When your best friend is a knife
And you live on the 31st storey
Of a 32 storey flat

Re: Living in A Minor; Dying in B Flat
You know, when I first read this, I could almost hear it.
I swear, it was softly tinkling in my ear and I could almost hear it and for a while, wherever I went, there was this tune that carried nicely and I cannot wait to hear it for real. Because I know it's gonna be awesome.
I love this.
Well it must be hard on confidence
When you put the ‘fun’ in funeral
You have no idea what those lines does to me.

^ Same. The whole verse, actually.
This is amazing, Mikey.
And you better tell us when you're done recording.

You know I love it Mikey.
put the 'fun' to funeral part?
Amazing.
You've got to tell me when it's done. I can't wait to hear it.

This is a brilliant song. You're so talented. I envy you. I wish I could write lyrics like you do.
Actually, the first time I read this on THAT OTHER SITE, I thought you were, like, BFFs with Ryan Ross and he let you post the lyrics of a Panic demo no one knows about but you.
You're the next RyRo. Really.
And that dress is way too hot for you
