GOT A HUGE BIG ENVELOPE

OPENED IT

AND IT WAS ALL 'LOL CONGRATS!'

i dont even know if i want to know, it's just that people think my art is actually GOOD ;___;


so, my two options.

i need help. ;__;

option 1: lane technical.
i was really upset when i found out this was the only selective enrollment i got into. but my dad went here for a few years, so he thinks i should go here. i also got invited to alpha & honors (is there a difference? LOL I CAN'T THINK) there, so... i don't know. i'd have more of a social life here, haha.

option 2: chicago high school for the arts.
dadada, we'd be the first freshman class EVER to enter this school. really, we don't even know the location yet. the day is so long, that's my major setback that's making me rethink if i want to go. academics are 8-1, then 3 hours of arts education, then 1 hour or so of rehearsal, but i doubt visual arts will have that.

...help, iar? ;_;

i was also thinking that i'll just go TRY chiarts' day and if i can't handle it i'll just transfer out to lane...

Um trust me go to the art school.
I got into SOTA - which is San Francisco School of the Arts (they let in five kids every year for writing!) and my parents wouldn't let me go.
I wish like every day that I had gone >.>

Do the art school.
Lane is just another, regular high school. And I know a lot of people in honors there-it's like mad crazy with homework.
So either way, you're going to lose a lot of social time....
But at least if you go to the art school, you'll be having a good time. Even if it is crazy hours.

Olympia's right- all the good shop classes are gone, and the academics are better than most, but as good as Lane's art program is, it'll never measure up to ChiArts.
