i hate school productions.
i mean, okay, the drama program gets to do six nights in a row of shows and make, what, ten thousand bucks on it?
yeah. cool. whatever.
the music program gets three nights spread over the entire year and we make, oh, about...seventy, eighty dollars?
makes perfect sense to me.
but it gets better!
they choose, as their musical this year, sweeney todd!
now don't get me wrong, johnny depp is hot and all,
but really?
they couldn't have done, like, the lion king?
something that people really want to see?
OMGYAYTHOUGHIGETTOGOSEEAGUYCUTPEOPLEAPART!
totally my kind of play.
OH AND.
the whooooole rest of the school gets to hear about the show ALL BLOODY WEEK.
which, you know, is okay, because it's not like the music department ever gets airtime.

anyway it's 8.51 pm and almost bedtime.

It's the same way at my school. They only really care about the sports and whenever the band does something amazing they're like "The band had a concert last night" and our band concerts are free, so I don't even know why more people other than our parents don't show up. -.-'
