most people at my school are... not extremely mean.
the guys, especially. i've actually had a few more guy friends than girls.

I deal with people like that all the time.
They usually do it because they're jealous and want to make themselves feel better.
I think in this case she was jealous of the fact that you're good in school.
And sometimes there's no rhyme or reason to their asshole-ish-ness.
Everyone should love you because you're simply amazing.

No but rly. I guess if you'e self assured in any way these days, it seems egotistical, seeing as driving oneself into the ground with criticism seems like the 'normal' thing these days. IDEK, I don't get it personally.
I mean, if you're got at something, you're good. -shrug-
I guess the best idea would be tot alk to her about why she feels that way. That way you can find out what you're doing to present yourself the way she sees you. Also, find out (maybe get friends to do it [lol ~sneaky] so there's no lying) what other people think. Cause like, she could be the only one, you know?
And if more people have an issue it really could just be that they're misinterpreting your actions.
