Have you ever had one of those moments where you stop and realise that you'll remember this for the rest of your life?

That's what the entire night was like.

Murals were painted, jeans were desecrated, memes were created, nicknames were hated. sleeping bags were soaked, maccas was run to (twice!), statues were violated, traffic cones were abused. Soccer was attempted, limp wrists were brutalized, loud hip-hop was played - dance-offs and rap battles ensued.

We raised over $2000 and had two MPs pledge their dedication, along with a speaker who had spent a large amount of his life working with ex child soldiers in Uganda.

I spent 16 hours nonstop (apart from some patchy sleep) with some of the most amazing people in my life.

It was magial blue m&ms, spray paint in awkward places and bizarre takes on velcro tennis. It was CRAY CRAYFISH and Blink singalongs. It was six people taking a whole hour to finish a 100 piece puzzle.

It was being part of something.

Illie, guys. Somehow I doubt this is something I'll forget.

Asddhsjgrvfvgrfdvchxs yes.

it was like... have you guys ever slept out for gigs? it's like a huge slumber party with some of the coolest people you'll ever meet.

This was that.

And everyone was so nice :D I made so many friends.

I remember after the rap battle thing, some guy started beatboxing and a bunch of people convinced me to sing along. And I was like '...Guys my voice rn sounds like it's been put through a cheese grater' but I did it anyway, and after a random stranger took me aside and was like 'You're an amazing singer, don't forget that' and just nawwww

We had like 3 guitars lmao.

There was this one group next to us with an acoustic and I swear they just played the same thing over and over and I was like '...wtf.'

But the other group we went to were cool and we sang with them for like an hour and did a puzzle on their guitar case and shared food.
