Vertically challenged

It amuses me how tall people have to bend down to hear what I'm saying sometimes. Herman, Timothy, Wye Hong, Phoebe, sometimes even Sze Li. Hwa Hong practically doubles over into some sort of half-bow -- it was all I could do to keep from laughing when I was trying to tell him something quietly at the prefects' fall-in.

Obviously, they can't expect me to jump, jump, jump and speak into their ears, so they have to bend down to hear me. And it's sort of like, 'muahaha, bow down before meee', y'know? Funny. xD

However, being short apparently makes my shoulders the perfect general height for armrests. Flinging an arm over my right shoulder, one of my friends sighed, "Ah, perfect height!" This is a pretty big con, 'cause I'm not too comfortable with being touched, especially by people I don't know very well.

Ah, well. I'm short, and I'll just have to deal with it, I guess.

It's even worse if you had your growth spurt when you in fifth grade.

I use tall people as armrests to balance out the universe [/smug]

but really - one of the reasons I love my work is that half the people there are tiiiiiiny. they make me feel tall.

Meaghan, that happened to me, yeah! Just that I never was really one of the tall kids. Maybe it was to prepare myself for my future or something. lol@chu
