So about a month ago I got a Canon 500D, and I love the SHIT out of it. So I figured I'd make a thread in which to whore them. If you want to see any of these bigger, they're all up on my deviantart (:
Gonna divide these into separate posts. mainly from oldest to newest with some out of order

Even though I don't know who that is, I really really really like the sixth picture.
The focus in that picture is brilliant and the colours are also wonderful.
I also like the concept of the first one.
The focus on the Polaroid makes it seem I dunno...more personal maybe.
Anyways.
Loved these new photos.

Nat and Kyle are both local artists, so you're forgiven for not knowing them (: and thankyou! I was really proud of these ones.
and yeah - they took a polaroid of us, so i took one of them. at first I just wannted a record of it because I liked the photo, but I decided it meant more this way - being able to see her holding it adds a more human aspect to it, i think.

I know! it was even more amazing in person. I'm so glad I had my camera because I would have been absolutely kicking myself if I wasn't able to photograph this.

From the epicFAIL! gig last night
sorry if they seem a bit dark |: they look fine on my computer but I'm on my mums now to upload them and they look way darker, so it really depends what you have your contrast set to.

So the other day I did the closest thing I've ever done to a photoshoot. i'm not really one for posed photos, seeing as I kind of feel that photography, for me, is about showing people beauty that already exists - to create beauty isn't what i do.
but anyway, I set up a bunch of people in an abandoned building, put fake blood and dirt on them and snapped a few photos.
The theme was "Last Desires" - what would you do with your last day on earth?

Thankyou! I actually didn't realise how many were of feet til you pointed that out. That kind of funny, because I actually have a phobia of them. I hate them; even being around people with bare feet makes me uncomfortable.
