Needing objects of affection.

i don't know if it's just me, but i always need a crush. always.

i have no idea if it's boredom but i get so low when i don't have a crush.

everyone else says they feel worse, particularly if they can't have the crush but i feel better?


anyway, discuss.

I used to always be like that, I would either have a boyfriend or a love interest.

I never really had an RL crush. Only celebs or people I can't reach. But I don't think I need objects of affection cause I tend to soak myself in other forms of release and obsess over fictional things; also, it's really hard to find a crush here if you're like me: with unrealistic standards.

I honestly think my way of having a crush is having one that I'll never get which is the case 99% of the time. It's not an issue for me really >_>

i hate being single, but as I am not attractive enough to snag someone, i've given up all hope ^_^

I've only ever had five crushes, and I dated three of them, I'm dating one of them now.

It's rare I have a crush, but somehow I attract most of them which is good.

and apart from Ryan and person I now detest because he was abusive, I've never even liked my crushes that much.

I used to need to have three crushes at any given time, one for each part of my life: school, church and karate.

I like having a crush now, even if I don't like them all that much. It's just kind of someone to think about and base characters off. -shrug-

OMFG.

This is like...a support group. I swear I thought I was the only one. Because I always have a crush and its just starting to piss me off. And I can NEVER have him. Never. Because either he has a girlfriend or likes someone else or I realize through some stupid epiphiany-type-thing that he "isn't good for me".

Like, I always find some irritating flaw with them and let it pass over, but not before I crank out at least 3 or 4 poems about him.

But not this one...this one...has no flaws. Except we're not in the same class, but whatever. He seriously is like...just for me. He's smart. And he's smiley. He has good hair. He's so chubby and adorable. Gaaah. Ya know? He's not like...uber-machoness or whatever. He's the perfect cute-nerd.

But once again, can't have him. He probably will never find out about it unless I can figure out some way to spend more time with him and "befriend" him and then let him know I like him. Which is soooo gonna happen.

I had my first major crush at...six. My family was so sick of hearing me talk about him, his name was Aaron. He had a mole on one cheek and a funny laugh, and...yeah.

Crushes are nice. If they don't get out of hand. There is a guy... My best friend is really exasperated with me because I've been 'like a yo-yo over him'. But it's sort of fading now, so it's quite nice. He likes another girl, who is, according to my ever-so-sensitive guy friend, "taller and prettier" than me.

I don't need a crush. But then we can't exactly control when it happens, can we?

its the same with me. i get bored when there isn't someone to keep my mind on. in other words something to live for yea? i think so. but i dont have to worry about that anymore

I've always needed a crush as well, and now that I don't have
one it really gets to me. All of my friends are wishing for boyfriends

First "crush" when I was like 7. Then every year up to this year I've had a crush. -__- Then I realized all the guys were assholes and were like "yuz guyz arr ma friends and yuz guyz can gtfo."

I used to like people all the time on and off. Since primary school
Pretty much 2-3 per year
But theres only been about 5 since year 7 that has lasted a long time/were significent in some way.
It's a love/hate thing for me. Because I love liking someone. Your day becomes so much brighter...but its all speculation...nothings ever really happened so its hard to see the point sometimes
I haven't liked anyone for ages though....I'm content with being by myself and just enjoying the company of others.
