Color slut [hair dye].

i would love to dye my hair, but it's incredibly porous and thick so not fantastic for dying.
plus, my mother is too in love with my natural colour to let me do anything drastic.
i've had a temporary red wash professionally done which lasted supposedly six weeks but only reallly came out when my hair was drastically cut in may this year, about 20 months later.

coloring hair = osm.
I've had blue and purple high lights and one day as an experiment I bleached my hair.
After I'm done with swimming for school(November DD:) I'm gonna color all my hair like some bright obnoxious color.

I think I'm going to bleach mine again this week.

I've had my hair black, blue-black, red-black, red and burgundy.
At the moment it's red and I dyed it recently. By myself actually, which was my first attempt at dying it without assistance.
I'm contemplating bleaching the front of my hair at the moment.

I dyed mine chocolate brown and it went almost black :/
I hated it but it faded after a while and I kinda like it now :/

I dye mine often, but it's mostly natural. Darker browns, lighter browns, just seeing what looks good and what doesn't.

But right now, I have a couple inches at the end of my hair that I bleached and dyed blue. The dye didn't go up all the way, so it kind of fades from yellow to green to blue. I love it. :

I doubt I count as a colorslut, though, cuz I'm growing out my natural color now. >_>

I once dyed/highlighted my hair like, 4 times in one day cause the color kept coming out wrong :.
First it was white-blond then orange, then dyed it burgundy twice to tone down the orange T_T I wanted the orange so bad

Last year I dyed most of my hair purple-red and the highlights still didn't wash out; I have red and copper undertones right now.

I once dyed my fringe orange.

Is it true that when you have colored hair(like blue, purple, red, orange, not natural colors) that the color will last longer if you wash it in cold water?
