I can't take decent pictures of anything else so I spend my spare time taking macros.

macros, you can take of anything and they'll look good because they're very detailed.

The blue flares are so pretty, aren't they? They were totally accidental the first time too

Re: Close Ups
Well, I had the lighting and stuff set up (okay, I just positioned myself near the window, stfu) and was just going for a shot of light, not light spots.
Either way, it looks cool.

Re: Close Ups
I took this one one day when I went running in the park. I loved the contrast but it's altogether rather random. Oh well. I linked because it's large and I didn't want to resize it.
I used to have lots of macros with plants and stuff. But they're boring so yeah...
I'm more into portraits now.
Btw, the eyes shots are beautiful. ^_^

I use a Fuji Finepix s7500. Its been superceded like 4 times since I got it in March but I am very faithful to my camera I haven't had any real problems with it at all, and you could probably pick one up second hand for about 200-250$ Australian.
boring picture but I love that necklace
