Donnie Darko
People wtf?
I thought surely it would be in the topics.
just for that tiny reason...THAT IT IS THE BEST MOVIE EVER MADE!!!
seriously its the cats pajamas, the bees knees and the ants pants all in one.
unfortunately Movie-Nazi in Hollywood thought it would be a good idea to make a sequel.
S. Darko coming soon... why God?
But anyway. Let me know what you all think of Donnie Darko.
Do you like it?
Do you hate it?
Do you not understand it?
Would it be better if Donnie were played by Dr Phil in a yeti suit?
etc...

Re: Donnie Darko
I. loved. it.
I hadn't seen it until last year when Emma made me watch it, but, omg, I have a slight obsession with it.
Its inspirtaion for my Extension Two English major work - lookinbg at surrrealism and dystopias.
I loved how it offered almost no answers. Usually in a film or book that pisses me right off, but it worked.

yeah I love it. I love how the movie doesn't make much sense at all until Mad World comes on in the last scene.
it explains it all in about 2 min lol.

Re: Donnie Darko
I remember I was in Washington for this NYLC thing, and my friend Hope told me about it.
Because I brought up 'Frank' (from My Chemmm)
and she was like
"Donnie Darko! It has a creepy bunny thing named Frank that tells Donnie what to do!"

Re: Donnie Darko
I've only seen this movie once, but I was like "WHOA". I really would like to watch it again.
They're making a sequel, I've heard and there's info up on imdb.com. I guess it's called "S. Darko" and picks up seven years later.

Re: Donnie Darko
I first watched it for a class last year.
I think I kinda understand it in a way or, at least, I understand it more after we talked about it.
And I like the conversation about the Smurfs.

yeah the second one is scheduled to be released at the end of this year, although it is not written or directed by the same guys as the first.

Re: Donnie Darko
As much as I wanted to, I didn't really like this movie. I mean, great actors, but I didn't enjoy it.
I kind of missed the point of the whole thing.
