When they pierce your nose, what kind of earring do they give you?
Is it a bar?
Or a hoop?
Or is there some kind of special nose earring?

It depends. You can get a hook or a screw. Mine is a hook, it's got the gem on one end and then the rest is shaped like an L that sits in the nose. My cousin has a screw and i think it twists in or something... and I think you can also get the ring in when you first have it pierced as well.

Guns are supposed to hurt more on ears actually.
Because it's forcing a blunt piece of metal through your ear, whereas a needle is pointed.

My nose hurt the most out of my piercings.
My lip kind of stung, almost as though I was getting an injection.

Yeah, me neither. LMFAOOO

And I could feel it, but it didn't bother me or anything.
But no pictures yet. It... fell out the same night because it got caught on the stuff i clean my face with. >_>
I'm going back to get it re-pierced tomorrow.

So they're re-piercing through scar tissue. O_O

When I got two the other day I got one done by gun the other by needle and the needle hurt more for me *shrugs*
Maybe it was because the needle was through cartilage while the gun was just in my ear lobe?

I've only had the gun through my ear lobes... but they didn't hurt at all.
And I think the needle goes through almost just as fast as the gun anyway.

And I will Katie! It's not falling out this time. >_>
I think after having it already fall out.. I won't let it happen again.

You know, sort of near the top where lots of people get them?
But I got in so much trouble just for getting a third one in the cartilage near my ear lobe so I doubt it's going to happen any time soon *sigh*

And the one in your cartilage near you ear lobe, was that the cartilage that's attached to the face.. like.. you know the little bit that sticks out just above your ear lobe? Is that what you got done? Because i've heard that one is soo painful.

Probably.
I expected my nose to hurt a lot because they were piercing through cartilage.

the needle's safer because it's not blunt trauma to the skin of the area being pierced.

the gun literally forces jewellery through skin, whereas the needle allows the skin to make room for the hole.

Amanda has both those places pierced and she said they did hurt but not too much *shrugs*
She wants to get another piercing up the top near her other one.
I suppose afterwards they must hurt quite a bit cause she couldn't sleep on it forever and she couldn't listen to music in that ear.

Dad was over in Brazil but he says I'm dead when he gets back.
He won't talk to me at the moment.

I got my nose re-done. And uhm so, they admitted that it was there fault it came out because the jewelery was too big for my nose, so they bent it and made it smaller.. but they still charged me. >_>

Now it's smaller and yeah. ^_^

Do you know if it is possible to just pierce with with a bar of some sort. Like something that doesn't come out of the nose at all? That way, I could leave that in until it healed and then once it was healed I could change it back and forth?

I want my nose done.
Just a little stud, nothing huge.
and I want my ear cartilidge done eventually.
I've turned off getting my lip done, idk, I've grown out of that idea I guess.
