The Saga of Darren Shan follows the story of Darren Shan, a normal human boy who is coerced by the vampire Larten Crepsley into becoming his assistant and a half-vampire.
four trilogies, meaning twelve books.
The film is due out next year I think and has John C Reily as Larten Crepsley, the vampire who bloods Darren.
I think short of more adult books, this series is like my favourite.
Even if it did make me cry and scream and throw the books around my house in anger

i read the first one, I was really amped 'cause I'd heard really great things about them. But I was a bit disappointed. I thought they were a bit...idk. simple.
