thought for today

okay, so as anyone on wayt, or most other community threads here, or on my msn right now, knows, i just finished watching berth.


it. was. fantastic.

i love the used, myself, but it wasn't just quinn getting naked or the stupid drunken antics they showed off.

it was how much they put into their live shows, how much they care about what they're doing.
they constantly toured for 2-3 years, and look where they are. they're actually relatively young compared to many bands but so well known.

just looking at the shows makes me want to be there more than anything because they take the effort to put on a good show that's worth the money, to create a bloody amazing atmosphere and they enjoy what they're doing. it's not a job for the money, it's for the having fun with people they hopefully love, and performing. i know i couldn't do it, so kudos to them, and maybe we could all take lessons from them in not giving a fuck and doing what makes us happy.

I still have Jenna's Berth dvd

mine's sitting on the living room floor in the mess of wii and playstation 2 and sky plus

but yah, The Used are awesome =]
