Requiem For A Dream
Requiem for a Dream is a 2000 film adaptation of the 1978 novel of the same name. The novel was written by Hubert Selby, Jr.; the film adaptation was directed by Darren Aronofsky, and starred Ellen Burstyn, Jared Leto, Jennifer Connelly, and Marlon Wayans. Burstyn was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance.
The film depicts different forms of addiction, leading to the characters’ imprisonment in a dream world of delusion and reckless desperation that is subsequently overtaken and devastated by reality.
It's intense but shows you what they go through since they're addicted to drugs.
Has anyone seen it?

Re: Requiem For A Dream
I loved this movie so much. And not just the actual story, the directing and the montage were breath-taking.
But I couldn't bear to watch the ending. It was too sad.

Re: Requiem For A Dream
Ohhh, yeah, the ending was really really sad. We watched it in class and the teacher in there cried because it was so sad.
You can actually watch it online (like I am right now) here.

Re: Requiem For A Dream
I watched it when my friend got the DVD.
It was seriously mind blowing.
The ending was really sad.
The whole movie was just so...trippy though.
I felt like i was actually on drugs the whole time.
I think it might be the music that does that to you as well.
The bit with the fridge moving was a bit freaky
