i wish you would step back from that ledge.
so my week was...
alright.
monday + tuesday we were in florida.
that was cool.
except that it was cold and windy while we were there.
and during a storm that hit, a couple of football players got lost at sea.
and my aunt knew one of them.
obv they're dead now.
wednesday = back to school/oboe lesson = not too too bad.
thursday = fitness testing + physio = fml.
my teacher was like, well i give participation marks during fitness testing.
in other words, even though your knee is obviously fucked up, you have to test anyway.
that was nice.
then i went to physio that afternoon so that i could get some kind of diagnosis on my knee...
they tell me that, although it might just be bruised lateral meniscus (that's the outside of the knee joint, cartilage),
it might also be acl (that's the tendon that holds the lower leg to the thigh).
if it's acl, it would be torn acl, which = surgery.
so now i'm on urgent referral to a sports clinic and i have an appointment on wednesday.
this, of course, means i probably won't be skiing next next week on spring break.
although i suppose it serves me right as that's how i injured myself in the first place.
friday = band school flute lesson youth symphony friends' house dinner.
v. long day.
saturday = workout another flute lesson drive to kingston for the evening.
which of course = folded up in a car for five hours with a damaged knee.
and sunday = no sleep + school tomorrow.
alright.
