It's the small things that matter.
You can affect the people around you and their happiness. Believe it or not.
Simple gestures of kindness could easily even make someone's day and it doesn't take much energy, so basically, you have no excuse not to do the following things.
- Say "Hello" when you come across a classmate, etc.
- Tell someone to have a nice day/weekend.
- Don't be afraid to look in the eyes. But remember, no judging looks because that just makes everyone feel like shit.
- Sit next to someone instead of going straight to the other side of the room/table. Even sitting next to someone on the bus might cease the feeling a loneliness. Another thing no one should ever do is sit next to someone and then draw their chair as far away from the other as possible. Not cool.
- Smile. That has never hurt anyone.
The list goes on and on.
Take a chance. Make someone smile.
(:

Good point.
Lmao.
When I was little, whenever I would cross the street, everybody that would pass by me, I'd smile at them. And they'd smile back and get honked at by the car.
But yes, oh-so very true.
