NaNoWriMo '09 (National Novel Writing Month)
I hope I'm allowed to make this.
Anyways, NaNoWriMo (short for National Novel Writing Moth) is upon us.
The goal of NaNoWriMo is to write a 50,000 word novel in thirty days, which averages out to 1667 words a day.
I thought it would be neat to have a thread to share our trials and tribulations, great progresses, and maybe tips on how to not go insane.
Because I know I'm not the only person doing it this year. ::

^Yep.
So, I stole my idea from my friend (with her permission, of course) but I'm having a hard time with the formation of chapters. I dunno, the timeline on mine is just really awkward.

Moved this to the stories forum, where it should be.
Re: NaNoWriMo '09 (National Novel Writing Month)
So basically the goal of this is to write a 50,000 word long novel?
Is there a place in which these get submitted to?
If not, why not make a competition based on this? Have say all the entries judged to see who's is the best?

(:
It's not the best, the people who write over 50,000 get a PDF award.

I'm going to try this. Never done it before. I've been off school so I have a lot of spare time on my hands. (:

You can do it!
I can barely scape out 300 words per sitting and I wrote 8k last night to catch up.
I'm still quite a bit behind. But I think I can catch up.
