Holiday Food and Food Traditions.
So, when I say holiday food I mean days like Christmas, Halloween, etc.
What are your favourite foods to eat on these types of days?
For Christmas I love fruit mince pies, white christmas, baked potatoes, pudding and candy canes.
You can talk about any holiday food you want, but Easter is kinda just chocolate for me and Halloween is a mixed bag. XD

Re: Holiday Food and Food Traditions.
oou, i love this thread already!
at saint patrick's day my mom makes coconut macaroons, usually green. :D food colouring. she also makes corned beef hash and sometimes hashbrowns but then she has to get like 5496113 potatoes so.
birthdays is either lemon cake or cookie cake ( ).
thanksgiving and christmas tend to be much of the same: turkey or turducken (chicken inside duck inside turkey) or roast beef or pork, green bean casserole, pumpkin pie at thanksgiving, cranberry sauce (jellied and normal), mashed potatoes, sometimes mashed turnip or parsnip, sweet potato, squash, etc. cookie cake here too.
in fact, cookie cake pretty much all the time.
although, is it possible to change the name of the thread to -food traditions-? because i have some of those that aren't necessarily holiday foods.

I changed the title slightly. (:
I like mud cake or ice-cream cake for birthdays.
