"Carry On"

"Carry On"

Verse 1:
No more crying over you tonight,
No more hoping to keep warm and tight,
Didn’t know that it would take this long,
To make me this strong,
No more misery upon my heart,
No more wishing this upon the stars,
Didn’t know that I could be so wrong,
Though I will move on,

Bridge:
This pain was slow,
We lost our flow,
With just one blow,

Chorus:
No more crying over you tonight,
No more holding onto your dark light,
Didn’t think that you would never give,
With this I can’t live,
No more bullshit from the things you say,
No more heart ache threw it far away,
Didn’t think that you could ever be gone,
Though I’ll carry on,

Verse 2:
No more looking up into the sky,
No more praying to God wondering why,
Didn’t know you acted in a play,
Faked it all the way,
No more bending down on my bruised knees,
No more locking my hands begging please,
Didn’t know your destruction was strong,
Though I will move on,
